Test Section

 

 

The Icing Research Tunnel test section is 6 ft. high, 9 ft. wide, and 20 ft. long.

The test section has an 8.6 ft. diameter turntable where models are mounted.

The test section contains 4 heated windows through which users can view models during testing.

Temperature measurements are made by thermocouples, and pressure measurements are made by pitot tubes.
