In the extended portion of the file, a "comment line" may be placed anywhere.
This line is denoted by a / in column 1.
The remainder of the line is disregarded by the input
routines, as if the comment line did not exist.
The purpose of this option is to allow the
user to place explanatory notes within the flow condition data file.
A blank line is also ignored.
