Technique is what we learn in school. It is the know-how for writing and solving equations. Concept refers to an underlying idea, and interpretation refers to an application of that idea to a “real-world” situation. Concept and interpretation are also taught, but take much longer to develop in a person’s mind. Concept is necessary
for interpretation, and interpretation is necessary for putting mathematics to the best possible use!
