Small-scale Leakage Flow Test Fixture
The flow measurement system is capable of very accurately quantifying the leakage of any non-flammable gas through seals and permeable materials. Gas pressure on the exterior of the test specimen can be reduced to <1 torr. Tests are conducted at ambient temperature, and leakage values are quantified along with the associated measurement errors. A wide range of leak rates can be accommodated, and the accuracy of the reported value can be adjusted by customizing the system’s volume and the test duration.

  • Highly sensitive leakage measurement system uses ideal gas law behaviors to determine pressure decay-type mass loss and associated measurement error
  • Dual-RTD temperature probes are accurate to 0.4 C (0.7 F) each
  • Pressure on the exterior of the test specimen can be <1 torr.
  • Dual-pressure transducers are accurate to 0.05% each
  • Any non-flammable gas or gas mixture can be used as the test medium
