Lift vs. Angle (cont.)

On the slide we have two figures. The left figure shows a schematic of the wing mounted in the tunnel on a sting. As the angle of attack is increased we can watch the lift increase (until stall) on our instruments. The measured lift will steadily increase. We usually record a numerical value of the lift on a graph which is shown onthe right. We can measure the variation of lift with change in angle of attack.
