The series, “Exploring Mars,” is a six-part series that begins in human antiquity then advances through the ages to the 20th century and the remarkable discoveries made since the advent of space travel. Included in the six lessons is information about the planet and its explorers, human and robotic, past, present, and future. There is, occasionally, special focus on the Pathfinder Mission (landed July4, 1997) in which the author played a role as participating scientist.
