angle

How the airfoil is inclined to the air coming towards it. It is measured in degrees. At zero degrees, the front of the airfoil is pointed directly into the stream. At 90 degrees it is pointed straight up. It is also referred to as the Angle of Attack. The angle of attack in this simulation is limited since it does not depict stall characteristics.
