Image - a circle with two radians drawn to form an angle "A".

Two times pi times r: since r equals a unite circle, the circumference of the circle would be equal to two times pi. So a whole circle would equal two times pi and 360 degrees. Pi would then equal 180 degrees. To change degrees into radians, divide the degrees by 180 and multiply by pi.
