Ailerons - the outside leading edge of a wing. Rudder - controlled by two foot pedals. The rudder moves the plnae's nose left or right and is used for turning. Elevator - moves the plane's nose up and down as it climbs or descends. Roll - left or right tilting. Vertical Axis - perpendicular or at a right angle to the plane of the horizon. Lateral Axis - running or placed side by side. |
