Sample coding of the one-dimensional shock tube problem--(Sod's problem)
demonstrates the space-time
conservation element and solution element method showing the simplicity of
the coding required for a nonreflecting boundary condition. The CE/SE method
allows shocks and
contact discontinuities to propagate out of the computational domain without
reflection.
