Calibration Burner: Photograph of the high pressure premixed calibration burner used in the HPGB facility. The novel burner design provides a true fully-premixed hydrogen-air capable burner that does not suffer from flashback or thermal meltdown problems. The burner is shown operating on an H2-Air mixture at an equivalence ratio of Phi=0.6 at a chamber pressure of 10 atm. The size of the flam zone is approximately 20 mm wide. The Raman collection lens is visible in the background.
