Status:
CEA is a well-known and heavily used FORTRAN program that has been documented
with NASA reports NASA TP-1311, parts I and II. The program calculates
equilibrium compositions and properties with the following built-in applications:
- Assigned thermodynamic states
- Theoretical rocket performance
- Chapman-Jouguet detonations
- Shock-tube parameter calculations
Deliverables:
CEA computer program with and without GUI that will calculate thermodynamic properties
for chemical systems. The program can be applied to a wide variety of problems
in chemistry and chemical engineering applications including combustion problems and
theoretical rocket performance.
A website that includes:
- A history of the program
- A description of the program
- A listing of associated publications with links to download them.
- A request form for obtaining CEA,associated data, and associated GUI option
- A page where any user will be able to get tables of thermodynamic data for specified individual species.
