Email: Dr. Chi-Ming Lee
Dr. Chi-Ming Lee serves as the Chief of the Combustion Branch, in the Propulsion Systems Division
at Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Provides technical and administrative management to
successfully accomplish Research and Technology Directorate objectives in an interdisciplinary progam
in engineering and science. This includes conduction and coordinationg research and technology
for improving the performance, design and analysis capabilities for combustors in support of
the Aeronatuics Base Program and Space Program. Specific areas of investigation include sprays,
combustion diagnostics, ignition, combustion stability, emissions, fuel characterization, desiogn
and analysis code, and chemical kinetics. Acts as the principle NASA sokesperson for combustion
technologies and represents the Center in this capacity at meetings, panels and committees.
Aids the Center's management in planning and execution of related programs. Incumbent must regularly
review long-range goals to ensure alignment with the Center and Angency's strategic plan.
