Ms. Bonnie McBride has been involved in developing computer codes that use the laws of
thermodynamics to model combustion processes. These codes have become useful tools for solving
a wide range of problems in Chemistry and Engineering. They are used in Thermodynamic Analysis
in the Aeronautics, Aerospace, and Commercial Communities as well as teaching tools in
Universities worldwide. These tools have been made available as Chemical Equilibrium with Applications (CEA)
from the CEA Web Site: http://www.grc.nasa.gov/WWW/CEAWeb/ .
CEA has been incorporated into academic curricula worldwide and has been published in textbook form.
