Balloonsat Telemetry
We encourage you to follow our Balloonsat Flights.
All of our Balloonsat flights are capable of transmitting basic information about their location, and the environment they are encountering. At present, we are able to send the following data - Payload location and altitude, Payload external temperature, and atmospheric pressure. We are also experimenting with sending back real-time video. In the future, we may be able to send back other types of data.
In addition to the telemetry sent back by the payload itself, we are also planning on webcasting the activivities at the launch site which includes payload and balloon readiness, launch, and recovery.
The next scheduled Balloonsat Launch Date, Time, and location is shown near the top of this page and the homepage. Return to this telemetry page a half hour or so before a scheduled launch time. On the morning of a launch day, you will find links to the various telemetry displays below.
