Overview
The Electron Optics Facility is a part of the Analytical Science Group in the Structures and Materials Division at NASA Glenn. The facility, which houses four scanning electron microscopes, two transmission electron microscopes, and an electron microprobe, is capable of various analyses from ultra-high resolution imaging to quantitative chemical analyses of elements with atomic numbers as low as (B to U). The entire NASA community as well as outside industry are eligible to submit samples to the Electron Optics Facility.
