Range covariance results for the 10 noise profile simulations when the simulation is based on an initial longitude for the satellite orbit of 0° east and the initial covariance is on the order of 10 meters squared for position components and of 0.1 (meters per second) squared for velocity components. The graphic is plotted as the range covariance per meters squared against time in seconds, and different colors represent the different system concepts analyzed: the current system of pseudorange and integrated Doppler measurements, and the five modified systems that incorporate two, four, eight, twelve, and sixteen additional ground stations for two-way laser measurements.
