Travel

Travel expenses are paid by NASA Glenn from the Co-op's university to the Center and return with the exception of the first trip, and in some cases, the last trip back to school. Payment for travel is based on mileage or air travel; whichever is less. First duty station travel expenses are not paid for co-op positions because the Government is authorized to pay first duty station moving costs one time, and it is normally more advantageous to the student to have cost reimbursement at the time the student reports for duty in a full-time position should such position be offered upon graduation.
