Participation in the program is arranged through the Cooperative Education Office at the student;s school of record. To qualify for the Program, the student must:
Be pursuing a graduate degree, baccalaureate degree, or associate degree in a major field of study directly related to the position for which they are being considered
Be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college/university
Have completed Sophomore year (baccalaureate degree)
Be enrolled in the institution's Cooperative Education Program
Be recommended to Glenn Research Center by the appropriate staff member at the educational institution
Be a United States Citizen
Be at least 16 years old
Meet security and medical requirements
Meet the qualification standards of the position
Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) for graduate or baccalaureate degree and a 2.5 GPA for an associate degree.
