In 1995 the EastTech/NASA Team experienced some major set-backs and hurdles to overcome. One month before the kick-off ceremony, the director of the program, Jim Eaton, left to pursue a position in outside industry. This left the team without a leader/organizer. As the volunteers struggled to coordinate and manage the program, the team managed to put together an impressive robot for the competition.
