Participating High Schools: East Technical Lakewood Strongsville Magnificat North Olmstead Holy Name Parma North Royalton	1994 was the first year for our Cleveland based team to compete in the US FIRST. The team was a collaboration of 8 area high schools located throughout the Cuyahoga County district. The employees at the NASA Glenn Research Center participated strictly on a voluntary bases working on their own time during off shift hours. The Team ASTRO went to New Hampshire and performed with a robust competitive spirit. The team walked away with a trophy for "Best Defense" by consistently keeping the competitors to low scoring while racking up numerous points.		Outstanding Defence Trophy
NASA Volunteer Team	The High School Students also took it upon their own to award the NASA volunteers with a plaque, thanking them for their dedicated time and efforts.
