 Objectives:

After reviewing the Animated Gas Lab slide, located under Gases - Statics in the Propulsion Index of the Beginner's Guide to Propulsion, you will use the information to complete the activity dealing with the way gases react to outside forces.


The Beginner's Guide to Propulsion is a Web site of information prepared at NASA Glenn Research Center to help you better understand aircraft engine propulsion. In the Propulsion Index, locate Gases - Statics and open the slide entitled Animated Gas Lab. Study the slide and use it as background information to help you complete the activity.

You, or you and your partner(s), will be evaluated on the accuracy and/or feasibility of your answers.

Evaluation:

You will demonstrate the ability to understand and use information found at the Beginner's Guide to Propulsion Web site to determine the response of a gas when manipulated in a variety of ways.
