DAFT
DAFT Logo DAFT is designed to test the effectiveness of a device that counts ultra-fine dust particles in a microgravity environment, a precursor to the next generation of fire detection equipment for exploration vehicles. This investigation is a risk mitigation activity on the development path for the next generation of spacecraft fire detection hardware.

The purpose of these tests was to measure the acoustic emission levels of Dust Trak and P Trak test articles for purposes of comparison with the EXPRESS Rack subrack payload limits.
