The program DANST-PC (for spur gears) is available immediately. This program computes the static and dynamic transmission error, dynamic loads and stress for external spur gears. There is no charge. We can send it to gear designers and researchers who are U.S. citizens located in the United States but we cannot send it out of the USA.
If you are wish to receive a copy of DANST, we will need a signature on a Computer Software Use Agreement by an appropriate representative of your organization who is empowered to commit your organization to abide by the provisions of the Agreement. The agreement commits your organization to (1) use it only for the stated purposes; and (2) not disclose the software outside your organization. The representative must be a United States citizen, or a permanent resident. The organization must be based in the United States.

The signed agreement may be returned either by postal mail, by fax, or scan it and email an electronic version to us. If you cannot read the files provided, please let us know. We can either convert it to another format or send a fax or paper copy. If you send back the form by fax, please tell us via email so we know to look for the fax.
